WMi PROJECT MANAGER

Our client, who has recently implemented Manhattan WMi to support their new eCommerce Distribution Center, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Management Systems Project Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for the development and support of Warehouse Management Systems- primarily Manhattan WMi and secondarily SAP WM.

Responsibilities include:
Hands-on Project Management of Manhattan WMi system implementations and integration to SAP and Material handling systems (Must Have)
• Provide business process knowledge and “hands-on” configuration on all aspects of Manhattan WMi System
• Configuration and support for integration between Manhattan WMi and SAP, and between Manhattan WMi and Material handling Systems including conveyor systems and Pick-To-Voice systems.
• Based on prior programming experience, work closely with programming team to develop additional functionality and reports on Manhattan Warehouse management System (WMi)
• Responds to requests for Manhattan Warehouse Management (WMi) system changes and support
• Works on opportunities identified by self and other business-facing IT personnel for process improvement through use of Manhattan WMi system

Qualifications:

Must have experience of implementing Manhattan WMi in consumer products industry.

Must have prior RPG programming experience or Manhattan WMi programming experience preferably on IBM iSeries/AS/400.

Appropriate Degree & Warehouse Management experience preferred.

Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with Operations, Sales and IT teams.

Must be available to travel extensively –10-20% of time, both domestically and internationally.

We anticipate a large load of ongoing enhancement and support which is on top of the workload to support PkMS and SAP in other warehouses, which consumes our existing team members. We also anticipate future implementations of Manhattan WMi.
